Midland Industries Move Complete
July 31st, 2023, Kansas City, Missouri – Midland Industries is excited to announce that the planned move to a newer, larger facility is complete. This move takes Midland Industries from the Midtown area of Kansas City to the new location at 9311 Troost Avenue, in Kansas City, Missouri. Anderson Metals Corporation (AMC) has moved to this new facility from the North Kansas City area as well, bringing two standalone facilities to one location for a better customer experience.
We look forward to providing service from this new larger, state of the art facility beginning the week of August 7th, 2023. This will be the new location for will-call/pickup orders.
Our new 143,000 square foot facility includes many upgrades, such as:
- 7,000 pallet locations
- 5,000 carton flow locations
- 25,000 hand pick locations
- Improved same-day shipping
- A new automated conveyor system with 8 checking stations
- 15 dock doors
- Planned expansion with autonomous robotic picking by end of 2023
